£4,000 to Moulsecoomb Forest Garden and Wildlife Project

Moulsecoomb Forest Garden and Wildlife Project works in one of Brighton’s most disadvantaged neighbourhoods to provide educational, social and conservation opportunities for young people who struggle in a typical classroom setting, adults with learning disabilities and others who experience difficulties in life.

The holiday schemes cater for up to forty pupils per day, many of whom have high levels of need. Activities on offer include camp building, bug hunting, pond dipping, walks in the woods, eco art, pizza making, chicken whispering and lots more.
