George represents England in Taekwondo European Championships

He took part in the 62kg sparring and team sparring competitions. At 14, he was one of the youngest competitors but acquitted himself well -  his high point was winning the deciding round in the Junior male's first team sparring match. 

George received a Pebble Trust talent grant of £500 in January which he put towards the cost of travelling to the competition.
