£2,500 donation to Cycling Without Age

There is a lack of resources for fun, interactive community based activities for elders living in care homes.  Many of Cycling Without Age's Brighton passengers, 60% of whom have a diagnosis of dementia, have not experienced the joy of being on a bicycle for years.  They rarely get the chance to go outside and enjoy the sea air.  The special trishaws enable interaction with members of the community, thus bringing social as well as health benefits.
