Donation of £4129 to Extratime

Extratime believe all children have a basic right to play and enjoy themselves, but for disabled children and young people, this can be the exception, rather than the norm. Opportunities to have fun, try new things and socialise with friends are greatly limited. As well as impacting on their enjoyment and development, this puts disabled children at high risk of isolation and loneliness. Our grant will fund two play workers next term. They will work with children and young people either in small groups or one to one, helping them to take part in a range of fun activities, whatever their abilities, ensuring they get the most out of their time at Extratime’s after school clubs and reach their full potential.
