Donation of £2,000 to mASCot

mASCot is a parent led grass roots organisation that provides vital support to Brighton and Hove families who have children/teens/young adults with ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition). There are now 850 families in their network. The ethos is one of promoting self support and empowering families to gain the skills, confidence and knowledge required to raise a child with special needs without being overly dependent on services. mASCot also promotes a sense of community and belonging for families who often experience high levels of social isolation, providing opportunities for member families to connect and meet others in the same position as themselves to share experiences.
