£5,000 donation to La Di Da Society

At the events, people can enjoy themselves for a few hours, feel part of the local community and make new friends. Many people come on their own but local community groups also bring along their service users, for example care homes, dementia groups, older LGBT+ services, blind groups and stroke groups. Events take place at the King Alfred Ballroom and each one has up to 240 attendees. Up until now, the La Di Da Society has had to borrow all the necessary kitchen equipment. Our donation will enable them to purchase their own to ensure that they can continue to run events into the future
