Olympic success for former talent grant recipient
As a teenager, Brighton athlete Amber Anning received several Pebble Trust talent grants to help with the costs of her training and travel to competitions. She won a full scholarship to a US university and since then, her career has gone from strength to strength. At the Paris Olympics, Amber won two bronze medals with the 4x400 women's relay and 4x400 mixed relay teams. She also broke the British national record in the individual 400m with a time of 49.29 seconds. We are absolutely delighted for her and wish her continuing success in the future
